An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara on Thursday afternoon.
The earthquake struck at around 1.40 pm at a depth of 5 km, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).

There were no immediate reports of any damage.
This is the second earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir in two days. Earlier on Wednesday, an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 hit J&K's Doda district.
