Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s highly anticipated film, released on 24th January 2025, has made an impressive debut at the box office. The film has been generating buzz for its gripping storyline, star-studded cast, and dynamic performances, especially the pairing of Akshay Kumar’s seasoned acting with Veer Pahariya’s fresh energy.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹11.25 crore on its opening day in India.

Early reports suggest that the film has not only attracted a huge audience on opening day but is also witnessing strong word-of-mouth praise, with fans flocking to theaters in large numbers.

Sky Force is an action-drama film focused on India’s first airstrike, the Sargodha airbase attack in Pakistan, during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965.

As per Sacnilk.com, the film reportedly grossed around ₹3.63 crore from 2D Hindi screenings, along with an extra ₹14 lakh from IMAX 2D shows. With nearly 160,740 tickets sold through advance bookings, the estimated Day 1 collection was around ₹3.77 crore. Including blocked seats, the overall total was anticipated to reach ₹5.42 crore.

In addition to its solid box office numbers, the film has been well-received for its engaging narrative and high-octane action sequences. The chemistry between the lead actors, the cinematography, and the film’s music have also drawn positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike.

Veer Pahariya takes on the role of Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya, a war hero, in Sky Force, alongside a talented cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan.
