The Indian animated epic Mahavatar Narsimha continues to dominate the box office. The film is winning the hearts of the audience with its gripping visuals and chilling cinematic history.
Mahavatar Narsimha earned Rs 16.27 crore net in India in the Hindi language on August 3. The film registered an unprecedented jump on its second Sunday. The total collection of the film now stands at an estimated Rs 93.32 crore India net in India in all languages. The film now inches towards the Rs 100 crore mark and is expected to soon achieve the milestone.
However, the film has already crossed the Rs 105 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, the film is presented by Hombale Films. With Mahavatar Narsimha, Hombale launches its latest endeavour: the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe.
The multilingual film was released in five Indian languages, and the screenplay, which was written by Jayapurna Das and Rudra Pratap Ghosh, has received a lot of praise for faithfully and magnificently bringing mythology to life.

The film explores the classic story of Prahlada and his despotic father Hiranyakashipu. Narsimha, Lord Vishnu's fourth avatar, arrives dramatically at the end of the story to restore dharma.
Meanwhile, Mahavatar Narsimha is the first instalment in a ten-part cinematic journey that chronicles Lord Vishnu's avatars.
The makers have already planned future instalments, including Mahavatar Parshuram, set for 2027, Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), and the two-part finale Mahavatar Kalki (2035 and 2037) are among the upcoming films.
