The market has staged a good recovery from the cuts of 10 percent that it saw in the past few months, especially after the Union Budget was announced in February. But, in April, led by IT stocks, the Street has managed to return close to 5 percent.

In fact, in the past one week, the market has risen around half a percent, with select stocks gaining continuously for the five consecutive sessions. In a market parlance, this is known as concurrent gains.

In this case, it would be prudent to look at such stocks, which carried such positive momentum.

In the BSE universe, there were 24 stocks, with the market capitalisation of over Rs 1000 crore, gain continuously in the past five trading sessions.

These include large-cap stocks such as Bharti Airtel, L&T Infotech, Honeywell Automation, SJVN and Avanti Feeds etc.
