Solar Industries shares rise 3% after firm’s Q3 net profit jumps 55% to Rs 315 crore

The company's revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,973.08 crore during the reported quarter. This marks a rise of over 38 percent from the Rs 1,429.14 crore revenue from operations reported in Q3 of FY24.

    The shares of Solar Industries rose nearly 3 percent on February 6 after the company reported a 55 percent year-on-year rise in net profit for the quarter which ended in December 2024. The shares of the company opened at Rs 9,899 apiece.

    Solar Industries announced its results in an exchange filing on February 5. The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 314.87 crore for Q3 of the current financial year. This marks a rise of nearly 55 percent from the Rs 203.33 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

    The company's revenue from operations meanwhile stood at Rs 1,973.08 crore during the reported quarter. This marks a rise of over 38 percent from the Rs 1,429.14 crore revenue from operations reported in Q3 of FY24.

    Solar Industries also reported a 30 percent year-on-year rise in total income, which stood at Rs 1,983 crore in Q3. Its total expenses meanwhile increased nearly 34 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,524.47 crore.

    The company's EBITDA jumped 38 percent to Rs 536 crore in Q3 FY25, from Rs 367 crore in Q3 FY24. Its EBITDA margin also saw an increase to stand at 27.17 percent during the reported quarter.

Our international business has delivered exceptional third-quarter performance, grew 21% year-on-year and reached best ever 758 crore in revenue."
