SBFC Finance bulk deal: 2.97 crore shares change hands, stock down 7%

The AUM as of December 31st 2023 was Rs 6,266 crores 40 percent higher on a Y-o-Y basis and 8 percent higher on Q-o-Q basis. GNPA for the same period was 2.38 percent as of December 2023. While the net profit was Rs.64 Crores, a 22 percent Q-o-Q growth and 63 percent growth on Y-o-Y basis.

Around 2.97 crore shares of SBFC Finance, amounting to 2.79 percent equity in the company, changed hands at Rs 87.25 each on March 7. Moneycontrol could not independently verify the buyers and sellers. At 10:40am, the stock was trading at Rs 85.20.

SBFC Finance, which was listed in August 2023 offers secured MSME loans and loans against gold, with a majority of the borrowers being entrepreneurs and small business owners.  Since listing, the stock has fallen nearly 5 percent.
