FMCG major Nestle India Ltd on October 7 said its CMD Suresh Narayanan will retire on July 31, 2025.
"After an illustrious career of over 26 years with Nestlé Group, Mr. Suresh Narayanan, Chairman
and Managing Director of Nestlé India Limited will take a well-deserved retirement, at the close of business hours on 31st July 2025," said Nestle India in a stock exchange filing.
Nestle India's Swiss parent proposed Manish Tiwary as MD effective August 1, 2025.
"The Company has received nomination from Nestlé S.A. for the appointment of Mr. Manish Tiwary as the Managing Director of Nestlé India Limited with effect from 1st August 2025," said Nestle India.
"Manish Tiwary is a distinguished business executive with nearly three decades of experience in leading largescale operations and strategic initiatives within the e-commerce and consumer goods sectors," said Nestle India.
Before this, Manish Tiwary was the Country Manager of Amazon India. He joined Amazon in 2016 after a 20-year career at Unilever, where he held roles in sales, marketing, and general management across various categories & channels in India, Gulf & North Africa.
Manish Tiwary is B. Tech in Computer Science and MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
"Manish Tiwary is currently a director at Amazon Digital Services Private Limited and More Consumer Brands Private Limited, and he will step down from his directorship on 30th October 2024. Manish has no relationship with any Director of Nestlé India Limited," said Nestle India.
At 12 pm on October 7, Nestle India's shares were trading nearly flat at Rs 2,601.35 apiece.
