Equity Mutual Funds delivered fine performance amid dull market session. In the equity space, funds belonging to broader indices Large cap and Small & Mid cap outperformed Index funds as the respective indices were up between 0.3%-0.7% than the benchmark Indices. As markets manage to end in a positive terrain, none of the funds in any Equity and Balanced categories were seen with negative returns.

On the sector front, Banking & Finance funds were hit very hard in yesterday's session recording just two gainers. The rest of the sector categories witnessed surge in returns recording no decline.

Among equity funds SBI Magnum Pharma Fund (G) was the top Performer which was up by 2.12% while Reliance Banking Exchange Traded Fund was the worse performer down by 0.51%

Speaking about the debt funds performance, the triggers like expectation of fuel price hike and release of IIP data today is keeping the debt market rangebound. All the funds in Long and Short term categories advanced registering no decline.

LIC NOMURA MF Bond Fund (G) up 0.50% was the top performing fund in yesterday's session.
