Here's what Samir Arora-backed Helios MF held, sold and bought in May

The fund house saw reductions of cash positions across its equity schemes during the month of May 2025.

Currently, the largest holdings in the portfolio are Adani Ports, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

According to a latest disclosure, Samir Arora-backed Helios MF's Flexi Cap fund's cash holdings decreased from 5.26 percent to 1.08 percent during the month of May. The AUM of the fund is around Rs 3,213.5 crore. Currently, the largest holdings in the portfolio are Adani Ports, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. The fund has slightly reduced its holding in Eternal (formerly Zomato), moving the stock to its fourth largest holding from previously held third.

Increased holdings
During the month, the fund substantially increased holdings in the following stocks:

Adani Ports and SEZ: The quantity of stock held rose from 677,414 to 828,303 shares (3.69 percent of AUM). The stock is currently trading at Rs 1,469.20. The value (as of May 2025) of the holding is Rs 11,864 lakh.

Bharat Electronics: Holdings increased from 1,378,338 to 2,217,741 shares (2.65 percent of AUM). The stock is currently trading at Rs 392.30. The value (as of May 2025) of the holding is Rs 8,529.43 lakh.

KPIT Technologies: Holding quantity moved up from 5,84,947 shares to 643,947 lakh shares (2.68 percent of AUM). The stock is currently trading at Rs 1,352.10. The value (as of May 2025) of the holding is Rs 8,608.70 lakh.

Added Positions

Positions were added in the following stocks:

NBCC (India):
Added 1,620,500 shares (0.62 percent of total AUM). The value of the holding as per the disclosure is around Rs 1,999 crore. The stock is currently trading at Rs 128.77.

MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange of India): Added 60,657 shares (1.25 percent of total AUM). The value of the holding as per the disclosure is around Rs 4,005 lakh. The stock is currently trading at Rs 7,941.

Gokaldas Exports: Around 377,574 shares (1.16 percent of total AUM) were added to the portfolio. The value of the holding as per the disclosure is around Rs 3,741 lakh. The stock is currently trading at Rs 930.55.

Delhivery: Around 888,452 shares (0.99 percent of total AUM) were added to the portfolio. The value of the holding as per the disclosure is around Rs 3,181 lakh. The stock is currently trading at Rs 371.10.

The Indian Hotels Company: Around 391,266 shares (0.94 percent of total AUM) were added to the portfolio. The value of the holding as per the disclosure is around Rs 3,012 lakh. The stock is currently trading at Rs 779.50.

Reduced holdings and complete exits
S H Kelkar and Company Ltd. and Electronics Mart India Ltd., which were present in the April portfolio with holdings of 3.05 lakh and 5.46 lakh shares respectively, were absent from the May data, indicating that these positions were fully exited.

Other portfolio cash changes

The fund house also saw reductions in cash holdings in its Mid cap fund (6.5 percent to 3.17 percent) and the Large and Mid Cap fund (7 percent to 0.64 percent).
