Bulk Deals: Nippon India picks 28 lakh shares of TBO Tek, Norges Pension Fund sells 7 lakh Nazara Tech shares

In today's session, the market’s fiery run continued, with the Nifty locking in its best weekly performance in four years, soaring 4.27 percent—a feat last seen in February 2021, when it had surged 9.46 percent.

The Sensex wasn’t far behind, posting its best week since July 2022, with a 4.2 percent gain that underscored the market’s unrelenting momentum.

The following stocks were sold via bulk deals on March 21.

Ami Organics Limited

In today's session, The Vanguard Group Inc AC Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund purchased 2.43 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 2,425 per share. Shares of the company closed 3.37 percent higher at Rs 2,458 on the National Stock Exchange.

Cartrade Tech Limited

Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund bought 3.30 lakh shares via bulk deals on March 21 at an average price of Rs 1,804 per equity share. The Vanguard Group Inc AC Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund also bought 3.83 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,804. Shares of the company closed almost 6 percent higher.

Gland Pharma Limited

The Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund bought 8.38 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,588 per share on March 21. Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund also bought 10.16 lakh shares at the same price. Shares of the pharma company closed almost 6 percent higher.

Mamamta Machinery Limited

Belgrave Investment Fund sold 1.24 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 402 per share. In today's session, the company announced that it has been granted a US patent for an invention entitled "Cross Sealingdevice" by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the term of 20 years.

Nazara Technologies

The company, operating as a diversified gaming and sports media platform, saw Norges Bank Pension Fund Global buy 7.19 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 969 per share. On the other hand, Ashika Credit Capital Limited sold 6 lakh shares at the same price. Nazara Tech shares ended marginally higher by 0.6 percent.

Nexus Select Trust

The Vanguard Group offloaded shares of Nexus Select Trust through two of its funds. The Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund sold 1.08 crore shares at Rs 122.22 per share, while the Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund divested 78.34 lakh shares at the same price.

Orient Cement Limited 

The Vanguard Group increased its stake in Orient Cement Ltd. through two of its funds. The Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund purchased 10.62 lakh shares at Rs 337.25 per share, while the Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund acquired 13.74 lakh shares at the same price. Shares of the company ended 2 percent lower today.

TBO Tek Limited

In TBO Tek Ltd., Augusta TBO (Singapore) Pte Ltd sold 46.29 lakh shares at Rs 1,200.04 per share, while TBO Korea Holdings Limited offloaded 26.20 lakh shares at Rs 1,200.02 per share.

On the buying side, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund purchased 7.83 lakh shares at Rs 1,200 per share, Nippon India Mutual Fund acquired 28.11 lakh shares, and SBI Mutual Fund picked up 8.78 lakh shares, all at the same price.

Pricol Limited

The Vanguard Group, through its Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund, purchased 9.52 lakh shares of the company at Rs 448.76 per share. The share price of the company closed at Rs 449, higher 6.5 percent from the last close on the NSE.

Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Limited

In Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Ltd., the Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund acquired 2.10 lakh shares at Rs 2,323.75 per share.  The share price of the company rose to Rs 2,339, ending higher by 5.2 percent from the last close on the NSE.

TD Power Systems Limited 

The Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund also picked up 8.24 lakh shares of the company at Rs 392.53 per share. Shares of the company closed at Rs 396, higher by 5 percent from the last close on the NSE.

 Anup Engineering Limited

In the company, Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund purchased 1.08 lakh shares at Rs 3,273.10 per share. Shares ended 5.56 percent higher at Rs 3,310 on the NSE.

Tilaknagar Industries Limited

The company witnessed buying activity from the Vanguard Total International Stock Index, with 10.55 lakh shares acquired at Rs 257.81 per share. The share price of the company closed at Rs 259, higher by 7 percent from the last close.

The Nifty breached 23,400 intra-day for the first time in two months before closing at 23,350, up 160 points. The Sensex roared 557 points higher to 76,906, while the Nifty Bank surged 531 points to 50,594. Broader markets kept pace, with the Midcap index jumping 706 points to 51,851 as investors chased opportunities beyond blue chips.
