Global investors Morgan Stanley, Societe Generale, and Citigroup bought 2.8 percent stake in Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy via open market transactions on September 27, however, promoters sold 7.13 percent stake in the company.
Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte bought 20.25 lakh equity shares in Sterling, Societe Generale 20.1 lakh shares and Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius 25.65 lakh shares in the renewable energy company at an average price of Rs 623 per share.
Promoters - Shapoorji Pallonji and Company sold 5.78 percent stake in Sterling at an average price of Rs 623.28 per share, and Khurshed Yazdi Daruvala offloaded 1.35 percent shares at an average price of Rs 630.01 per share. The stock gained 1.2 percent at Rs 649.60.
Shivalik Bimetal Controls was also in focus on Friday as promoters - Ultra Portfolio Management, Angad Estates, Amar Engineering Company, and B S Sandhu & Associates - offloaded a 17.97 percent stake in the company at an average price of Rs 610.6 per share, amounting to Rs 632.1 crore. Amongst them, Ultra Portfolio Management, Angad Estates, and Amar Engineering Company sold their entire personal shareholdings.
However, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, UTI Mutual Fund, SBI Mutual Fund, Sundaram Mutual Fund, HSBC Mutual Fund, Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund, DSP Mutual Fund, and Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc bought 16.76 percent shares in Shivalik Bimetal Controls at same price, valued at Rs 589.58 crore. The stock finished the session at Rs 621.95, up 0.3 percent.
Nuvama Wealth Management shares gained 1 percent at Rs 6837.15 on the BSE. Global investors Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte, Goldman Sachs Funds - Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio, and Smallcap World Fund Inc acquired 5.2 percent equity stake in Nuvama at an average price of Rs 6,702.60 per share, valued at Rs 1,234.8 crore.
However, investors EDEL Finance Company, and Ecap Equities sold a 6.2% stake in Nuvama at the same price, amounting to Rs 1,481.2 crore.
Entero Healthcare Solutions shares rallied 9.4 percent to Rs 1,437.35. Prasid Uno Family Trust sold a 5.5 percent stake in Entero at an average price of Rs 1,305 per share, amounting to Rs 313.2 crore, however, Stichting Depositary APG Emerging Markets Equity Pool bought a 2.1 percent stake at the same price, valued at Rs 121 crore.
Furthermore, Ascent India Fund III sold a 0.91 percent stake in Sequent Scientific at an average price of Rs 195.73 per share, and a 0.92 percent stake in Radiant Cash Management Services at an average price of Rs 78.61 per share.
Pine Oak Global Fund has offloaded 0.6 percent stake in Orient Technologies at an average price of Rs 274.78 per share, while promoter Nageswaramma Private Trust sold 1.17 percent stake in Amrutanjan Health Care at an average price of Rs 745.29 per share.
Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund bought 48,000 equity shares in Dynamatic Technologies at an average price of Rs 8,043.3 per share, while Singularity Holdings acquired 65 lakh shares in SpiceJet at an average price of Rs 61.61 per share. Saint Capital Fund purchased 2.5 lakh shares in Dev Info Technology at an average price of Rs 151.44 per share.
