If the question is whether the week gone by was entertaining enough then the answer is a definite yes. The film industry, the sports fraternity and the all the celebrities in both of them together gave plenty of reasons for fans to stay tuned and entertained.

Since it’s the wedding season and Bollywood is only talking weddings these days-the most sought after December wedding couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been giving fans major couple goals ever since they tied the knot in Jodhpur earlier this month.  While the Disney singer sent out a video on social media of his newly wedded wife watching Elf claiming he took it secretly, Chopra posted quite a selfie of the two of them captioning it as ‘Marital bliss they say’.

The post as usual went about getting thousands of likes, shares, good wishes and awwws and so did all the other images the duo sent out from their Oman honeymoon. However, that is not the only development around holy nuptials of Indian celebrities. Badminton stars Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap took to social media on Friday to share their wedding picture giving the nation another huge opportunity to do what they have been doing for the last one month-‘Awww’. With that we are hoping it’s a wrap to 2018’s wedding chapter of Indian celebrities unless somebody somewhere secretly ties the knot and paparazzi gets their hand on the pictures and videos of it.

Also, social media was not just celebrating weddings fans were also celebrating anniversaries. From sports or from Bollywood? Well both and that too together. No prizes for guessing who celebrated their first wedding anniversary this week. None other than team Virushka.

Moving on, there were some melodious developments happening this week. Waking up to the issue of legitimate usage of pre-recorded music, members of South Indian Music Companies Association (SIMCA) have entered into an agreement for monetising its public performance rights with Phonographic Performance (PPL).

That apart, last week’s release Kedarnath not only won debutante Sara Ali Khan accolades for her performance but also got the box office some happy news with the film clocking collections to the tune of Rs 42 crore. People have appreciated her acting skills and been all gaga expressing their excitement for her next film Simmba. As for the best debut this year, has Sarah done enough to win the award, ahead of Sridevi’s daughter? Only time will tell.
