Religare has come out with its second quarter (July-September) earnings estimates for the India Energy sector. The brokerage house expects
Gujarat State Petronet to report net profit at Rs 134.4 crore, up 10.8 percent quarter-on-quarter.
Net Sales are expected to increase by 4.3 percent Q-o-Q (up 6.4 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 268.9 crore, according to Religare.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to rise by 2.7 percent Q-o-Q (up 6.9 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 239.4 crore.

Earnings to improve to Rs 1.34bn (+11% QoQ, +24% YoY) on higher volumes. Volumes to improve 3.4% QoQ to 26mmscmd on higher LNG volumes.
The final decision on GSPL’s Gujarat grid tariffs is expected any time before Mar’17. We have built in tariffs at Rs 1.25/scm, about 25% higher than current levels. We currently don’t see any case for an earnings upgrade.
