CBSE Date Sheet 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2026 for Class 10 and Class 12 on Wednesday. According to the CBSE 10th, 12th Board Exam Time Table 2026, the CBSE Class 10th board exams will begin on February 17, 2026, while the CBSE Class 12th board exams will start from February 20, 2026.
The CBSE will conduct the following examinations during this period:
In 2026, around 45 lakh students are expected to appear for the board examinations. The exams will cover 204 subjects across Classes 10 and 12, and will be conducted not only in India but also in 26 countries abroad.
The tentative date sheets have been released in advance to help students, schools, and teachers prepare better. The schedules are based on the registration data of Class 9 and 11 for the year 2025. The main aim is to ensure smooth planning and management of academic and administrative responsibilities.
Evaluation Process
As per the guidelines, evaluation of answer scripts will begin about 10 days after each subject’s examination and will be completed within 12 days. For example, if the Class 12 Physics exam is held on 20th February 2026, the evaluation will likely start on 3rd March and end by 15th March 2026.
