Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 series in India starting at Rs 87,999, bringing Galaxy AI features, upgraded cameras, new processors, and a limited-time free storage upgrade offer.

Samsung has launched its new Galaxy S26 series in India with the launch of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The new flagship lineup focuses on deeper on-device AI integration, camera improvements, refined displays and long-term software support. Alongside the smartphones, Samsung has also expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, strengthening its ecosystem of connected devices.

Galaxy S26 series features

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are powered by the Exynos 2600 processor customised for Galaxy, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. All three models run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and support Galaxy AI features such as contextual assistance, real-time summarisation, smart search tools and privacy-focused on-device processing.

Samsung has committed to seven years of Android OS upgrades and security updates across the Galaxy S26 series.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 200MP primary camera paired with advanced telephoto lenses, offering up to 100× digital zoom. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ use a 50MP main sensor with ultra-wide and telephoto cameras supporting up to 30× digital zoom.

Samsung has focused on computational photography improvements, including better low-light performance, portrait processing and built-in AI editing tools.

Battery capacities range from 4,300mAh on the Galaxy S26 to 4,900mAh on the Galaxy S26+ and 5,000mAh on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Charging speeds increase across the lineup, with wireless charging and reverse wireless charging supported on all models.

Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and enhanced security through Samsung’s Knox ecosystem.

The Galaxy S26 starts at Rs 87,999, while the Galaxy S26+ is priced from Rs 1,19,999. The top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra begins at Rs 1,39,999.

As part of a limited-time pre-order offer, Samsung is providing a free storage upgrade across the lineup. Buyers can get the 512GB variant at the price of the 256GB model on all three smartphones.

The Galaxy S26 series is available for pre-orders in India through Samsung’s official channels, retail stores and partner platforms. The free storage upgrade offer is valid for a limited period during the pre-order window.

Galaxy Buds4 features

The Galaxy Buds 4 introduce improved active noise cancellation, adaptive sound tuning, and AI-powered voice clarity for clearer calls. They support seamless device switching across Samsung products, enhanced battery efficiency, and tighter integration with Galaxy AI features for real-time translation and smarter audio adjustments during daily use.
