The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune, has officially announced the much-awaited Maharashtra NMMS Result 2026 for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates who took the exam can now check and download their results and the merit list from the official websites—mscenmms.in or mscepune.in.

Step 1. Visit the official MSCE portal at mscenmms.in or mscepune.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link that says "Maharashtra NMMS Result 2026" or "NMMS Merit List 2025-26" .

Step 3. A PDF of the merit list or a new login window will appear on the screen. If prompted, enter your Seat Number and Mother‘s Name to log in.

Step 4. The result will display your personal details, scores in the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), and qualifying status.

Step 5. Download the result and take a printout for future reference and admission purposes.

NMMS Scholarship Scheme 2026: Key Highlights

The NMMS scheme, under the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, aims to arrest the dropout rate at Class VIII and encourage students to study at the secondary stage.

Scholarship Amount: Selected students will receive a scholarship of INR 12,000 per annum (INR 1,000 per month) for studying in Classes 9 to 12 .

Eligibility Criteria: Students must have scored at least 55% in Class 7, and the annual parental income should not exceed INR 3.50 lakh .

Selection Quota: The central government allots scholarships to the top 11,682 students in Maharashtra based on their performance in the qualifying exam.

Once the Maharashtra NMMS result is declared, shortlisted candidates must ensure they complete the document verification process at their respective schools. To receive the scholarship amount directly into their bank accounts via the Public Financial Management System (PFMS), students are advised to open a joint bank account with their parents and link it with their Aadhaar number.
