Citroën India rolls out C3 Aircross SUV, priced between Rs 9.99-12.34 lakh

Deliveries of the C3 Aircross will commence on October 15

Nearly three weeks after commencing the bookings of the C3 Aircross, Citroen India has officially launched the midsize SUV, which is available at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The vehicle will be built at French carmaker’s Thiruvallur facility in Tamil Nadu, with over 90 percent of its components being locally sourced. C3 Aircross is now the fourth model in the company’s lineup apart from the C5 Aircross SUV, C3 hatchback and E-C3 electric hatchback.

Roland Bouchara, CEO and Managing Director of Stellantis India, said in a press release, “This mid-size SUV is built featuring key elements of Citroën’s DNA — Comfort and Innovation. It has received a positive response across the country since the start of bookings in September. We are ramping up our production to cater to the festive season demand."

The C3 Aircross SUV is available in three variants — You, Plus, and Max — with prices ranging from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 12.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The C-segment model comes in two seating configurations — a standard 5-seater layout and a 5+2-seater layout with removable seats in the third row.

The C3 Aircross SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre Gen-3 Turbo PureTech petrol engine, which delivers a maximum power of 108hp and a peak torque of 190Nm and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle has an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.5kmpl.

Positioned between the C3 and the C5 Aircross, this model measures 4.3 meters in length and its wheelbase is 2,671 mm. It has a ground clearance of 200 mm and has a 511-litre boot space (with the third row of seats removed).

In terms of features, the Citroen C3 Aircross is equipped with a 10-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, air-conditioning with a roof-mounted blower, engine start/stop button, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear wiper with washer, reverse parking camera, roof-mounted rear AC vents, manual IRVM and TPMS and Hill Hold.

Deliveries of the C3 Aircross will commence on October 15. The company also announced that customers can avail of the ‘Buy Now Pay in 2024’ offer on all deliveries till October 31.
