Bajaj Auto today announced the launch of the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, priced at Rs 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom). It was initially introduced in the country on May 3, 2024, priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). During this period, the motorcycle has garnered volumes of over 20,000 units.

In its 2025 avatar, the Pulsar NS400Z gets more power (up from 40 PS to 43 PS), redesigned radiator cowl, new front and rear radial tyres, and a sintered brake pad.

The motorcycle is faster than before, and can do 0-60 kmph in 2.7 seconds, down from 3.2 seconds, and 0-100 kmph in 6.4 seconds, down from 7.5 seconds. Even the top speed has increased from 150 kmph from 157 kmph, with Bajaj claiming that it has been done without compromising on the fuel efficiency.

At the heart of the motorcycle is a 373.27 cc, liquid-cooled engine, which develops 43 PS of maximum power and 35 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features a clutch-less full-throttle gear-shifting system, which has been co-developed with Bosch.

Like earlier, the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z has four ride modes -- Road, Rain, Sports and Off-road. According to Bajaj, the clutch-less full-throttle gear-shifting system can be activated only in Sports mode.

The Pulsar NS400Z, which is the biggest Pulsar ever, gets 43 mm Champagne Gold USD forks and a 6-step adjustable monoshock with nitrox at the rear. There is a disc brake each at the front (320 mm) and rear (230 mm). A dual-channel ABS is standard.

So far as features are concerned, the Pulsar NS400Z boasts LED projector headlight, LED taillight, LED blinkers and a fully-digital colour LCD instrument panel, which supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, among others. Also available are 5-step adjustable brake and clutch levers and switchable traction control.
