The Assembly Elections results for Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Mizoram, and Chhattisgarh will be declared on December 3. The five key states voted on different days between November 7 and 30. Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram went to polls in a single phase while Chhattisgarh voted across two phases.

The Congress hopes to retain power in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh while it wants to make a comeback in Madhya Pradesh. Telangana faces a triangular contest with both Congress and BJP going all out to prevent the third term for K Chandrashekhar Rao of the BRS. Meanwhile, this time the usual Mizo National Front (MNF)-Congress fight faces challenges from Zoram’s People Movement (ZPM).

Exit polls results on November 30 evening, after the conclusion of the Telangana elections, indicated BJP to be in the lead in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. According to pollsters, Congress might remain in power in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, several projections suggested that Congress might dethrone KCR-led BRS.

The voter turnout in Rajasthan was 74.62 percent while Madhya Pradesh registered a nearly 76 percent polling. Mizoram recorded 77.04 percent polling while Chhattisgarh registered a 70.87 percent voter turnout. Telangana registered a turnout of 63.94 percent turnout till poll-close.

The results of these five state elections are crucial for both BJP and Congress ahead of the 2024 general elections. The five states together send 83 members to the Lok Sabha.

When and where to watch?

The counting of votes is likely to begin at 8 am on December 3 after which the election results will be announced. You can catch the results live on the official website of Election Commission of India at eci.gov.in. It will be available on the website in real time. Besides, you can also watch poll results on all News18 Network platforms, including CNBCTV18 and Moneycontrol.

How to track results on EC website?

· Go to the official website, eci.gov.in.

· On the click on the 'Elections'. Then click on individual links of the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana or Mizoram.

· The election results 2023 will be displayed on your computer screen.

· You can check all the details such as the winner, first candidate, second candidate, and more.
