Supreme Court of India JCA Recruitment 2025: Registration Begins for 241 Posts, Link to Apply Here

The Supreme Court of India has opened applications for 241 Junior Court Assistant posts. Registration begins from 5 February, and will continue till 8 March 2025.

The Supreme Court of India has announced the recruitment for Junior Court Assistant (JCA) posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Supreme Court at sci.gov.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 241 vacant posts in the organisation. The registration process starts on 5 February 2025 and will continue until 8 March 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. In addition to educational qualifications, applicants should have:

  • A minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on a computer.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations.
  • The age limit for applicants is 18 to 30 years as of 8 March 2025. Candidates who do not meet the age criteria will not be considered.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted in several stages:

Written Test:

  • Objective Type Paper (2 hours)
  • Computer Knowledge Test (objective type)
  • Typing Speed Test (10 minutes)
  • Descriptive Type Paper (2 hours)

Candidates who qualify in the objective tests will be called for the typing speed test and descriptive test. Successful candidates from these rounds will be shortlisted for an interview before an Interview Board. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks to clear the interview stage.

Application Fee

  • General/OBC candidates: Rs 1000 (plus applicable bank charges)
  • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Differently Abled/Freedom Fighters: Rs 250 (plus applicable bank charges)

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid through the online payment gateway provided by UCO Bank. No other mode of payment will be accepted, and postal applications will not be entertained.

  1. Visit the official website of the Supreme Court of India: https://www.sci.gov.in/.
  2. On the homepage, click on the “Updates” section.
  3. Select the link that says “Link to Submit Online Application Forms for the Post of Junior Court Assistant.”
  4. A PDF will open; click on the link provided within the PDF.
  5. On the new page, click on “To Register” to create an account.
  6. Register by entering basic information like your mobile number and email address.
  7. Log in using the generated user ID and password.
  8. Fill in the required details in the application form.
  9. Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
  10. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
  11. Download and print the submitted application form for future reference.
