It is no secret that Hrithik Roshan takes his fitness seriously. While he leaves fans in awe by lifting heavy weights at the gym, his fuel comes from power-packed, nutrient-rich meals prepared by his personal chef, Shubham Vishwakkarma.

In an exclusive chat with Health Shots, Shubham revealed that the War 2 actor eats every 2.5 to 3 hours. His day usually ends by 9 pm, after which he fasts until the next morning. Special emphasis is placed on curating balanced meals for him that include “proteins, carbs, fibre, and healthy fats,” supporting his overall well-being and fitness training.

Shubham added he ensures there’s sufficient intake of non-vegetarian foods for his lean muscle gains and recovery. "I add eggs, chicken and fish for Omega-3 in his diet. Greek yoghurt, oats and quinoa are also some of the staple foods we give him. Nuts and seeds are non-negotiables that we add to Hrithik sir's diet to ensure he remains fit and healthy," he shared.

Hrithik prefers natural foods for his protein intake, relying heavily on white fish, eggs, lentils, rajma and chickpeas. While the actor may be strict about his diet, he does sneak in cheat days where he relishes delicious but mindful foods like tandoori chicken, BBQ chicken, no carbs burger, and pizza with jowar base.

The actor’s personal chef clarified that many people believe he doesn’t eat Indian foods such as dal, roti, and sabzi. But this is exactly what he prefers to eat. He said, "Sir's comfort food is moong dal, Bhindi bhaji, Jowar roti and one bowl of dahi.” For dessert, Hrithik prefers a protein-rich brownie, which makes it a healthier choice.

While Hrithik eats most foods and enjoys his meals guilt-free, he avoids mushrooms, refined sugar, seed oils, and gluten. The result of his dedication towards his fitness are certainly evident to his fans.
