BTS fans, known as ARMYs, are buzzing with excitement and speculation following the announcement that BTS members Jungkook and Jimin will star in a new variety show titled 'Are You Sure?' The show, set to feature the two K-pop stars travelling and spending quality time together before their military enlistment, has sparked rumours that another beloved member, V (Kim Taehyung), might also make an appearance.
The speculation began when ARMYs noticed several clues suggesting V's involvement in the show. On July 3, 2024, BigHit Music announced the show, which will see Jungkook and Jimin exploring various regions and engaging in activities like camping, canoeing, and road trips. However, keen-eyed fans quickly picked up on potential hints pointing to V's presence.

The first clue came from a post by V during Korean New Year's Day, or Chuseok. He uploaded a picture of a sunset from Jeju Island, which fans later noticed resembled a shot in the trailer for 'Are You Sure?' The similarity in the views led many to speculate that V might have been part of the filming on Jeju Island, hinting at a possible guest appearance in the series.
Another piece of evidence fueling the rumours were photos V posted with Jungkook and Jimin. In these pictures, all three members sported the same haircuts seen in the teaser video for the show. This further convinced fans that V might be a surprise participant in the variety series, potentially joining Jungkook and Jimin on their travels.
While many fans are excited about the possibility of V joining the show, others remain skeptical. Some believe that the clues might be coincidental and not indicative of V's involvement. They caution against jumping to conclusions based solely on these hints. Nonetheless, the speculation has added an extra layer of anticipation for the show's premiere.
'Are You Sure?' will showcase Jungkook and Jimin as they embark on an adventurous journey across different locations. Their travels will begin in the United States and continue to Jeju Island and Sapporo, where they will enjoy activities like camping, canoeing, and road trips. The show's concept promises to offer fans a closer look at the duo's camaraderie and experiences in diverse settings.
The series will consist of eight episodes, with the first two episodes scheduled to premiere on August 8, 2024, on the Disney+ streaming platform. The teaser video and the official poster have already been released, heightening fans' excitement and expectations for the show.
