BTS leader RM celebrated his 31st birthday on September 12. He connected with his fans via live chat on his special day. He also sent his ARMY into frenzy with an update on the BTS comeback album and several other candid topics.
RM reflected on the pressure of being a BTS member and said, “Ahhhh, it's so burdensome!! I mean, imagine you're BTS! You're BTS, but you just discharged from the military, it took 3 years, you're suddenly back, and everyone's like Wow, they're gonna come up with something insane, aren't they? It's pressuring us too! and we got together and lived together for 2 years- I mean, 2 months, but we're all the same, we're the same as we were!”

RM also talked about his comeback album. He said, “Guys, are you guys really ready for the new #BTS album? I think I'm not ready.. I think I'm still tripping..”
Sharing the update, the singer added, “We still are recording stuff and I'm arranging the lyrics we set up like a whole new process for the new album, new concepts like... this is NEW #BTS after military service in 2026," RM said about the comeback album. He added, "Next year is gonna be really BIG in terms of many things. I hope you guys are still healthy until we can visit your countries. It's been 6 years since we were on tour, is crazy.”

He elaborated, “I'm not sure what and how this is gonna turn out, and each and every one of you might either like or dislike it, like I don't know cause I can't do anything about it. But, we'll continue to keep going with the belief that we do have something that (only) we're able to do. (We'll do it) in a way that doesn't disappoint people, but it's not just about considering the listeners and the audience, and more about what we want to do, what we must show, or want to show.”
The singer also suggested that the K-pop band BTS was trying to present something that was their inner voice.
He added, "We want to focus more on our inner voice, and by doing that, we wanted to show the process of us growing as artists. That's why we're preparing a lot of things, so there's nothing else to do but ask you to wait. I mean, there's no other way. So, I can't help but only say "PLEEEEEASE~ wait just a little bit more!”
