  • Bride Nandini Ghai wore a striking blue lehenga for her Sikh wedding ceremony
  • Her lehenga by Falguni Shane Peacock costs around Rs 4,50,000
  • The look featured floral sequins, lotus patterns, and a matching blue veil

When it comes to bridal lehenga, the colour choices are pretty predictable. It mostly oscillates between variants of red and pink colours. What if we tell you that a bride picked a blue colour lehenga for her D-day and she absolutely rocked that look? Well, yes! The girl is Nandini Ghai.

Fashion creator and stylish Chahat Chaudhary recently lauded Nandini for setting a lovely precedent of wearing a blue number for her Sikh wedding ceremony. Chaudhary wrote, “Blue on an Indian bride @nandinigulati_ You looked fabbb."

The lehenga is a creation of designer Falguni Shane Peacock and it looks beautiful indeed. Guess the price of the same? Well, it costs around Rs 4,50,000. Celebrities Tamannaah Bhatia and Alanna Panday too wore a similar version of the lehenga in the past.

Nandini's lehenga features floral sequins, lotus patterns, butti embroidery, crystal tassles on the borders and the highlight of the attire is the brocade work. The striking blue colour and the matching floor-sweeping veil along with it fit the bill for a 10 on 10 bridal look. It was indeed refreshing to see a bride in blue lehenga.

To round off the look, the bride wore kundan neckpiece, matching earrings, maang tikka, white bangles, kaliras and white gold nath too. She also picked light blue and lavender flowers to put around her bun.

“Honestly, this is such a hit experiment, and I love it. It’s amazing to see how she has matched the kaliras and white churda with it. Again, a very bold choice. Girls, hear me out. This is your sign to go for the colour you want to wear on your wedding day,” Chahat expressed in her post.
