Eid 2026 Special: Easy no-bake dessert recipe you must try

Eid is the time to celebrate with your loved ones, and there is no better way than adding a modern spin to traditional dates. Here’s a recipe you’d love on your table spread this year

Eid celebrations call for a feast that includes delicious desserts. While traditional ones like sheer korma and seviyan are highly enjoyed by children and adults alike, there are also some that can be given a modern spin like medjool dates.

Chef Saloni Kukreja shared one such recipe in her new Instagram post. “Celebrate the sweetness of Eid with these indulgent Tiramisu Dates. Soft, caramel-like medjool dates filled with a creamy coffee mascarpone mixture—this is the perfect bite-sized dessert for your festive table!” she wrote.

She shared how stuffed dates have a dedicated set of fans, and the tiramisu-inspired ones are filled with a creamy, delicious coffee mascarpone filling. These are dusted with cocoa for the perfect finish.

Start with either a shot of espresso or combine instant coffee with hot water. Mix and wait for it to cool before adding the mascarpone cheese along with honey and salt. Combine them until silky smooth and transfer the mixture into a piping bag.

Next, pick the medjool dates and ensure you pit and press them well to make space for the filling. Pipe them with the mixture, refrigerate them to set, dust with cocoa, and serve them chilled.

Ingredients

  • 10-12 medjool dates- pitted
  • 1/2cup mascarpone or cream cheese
  • 2tbsp honey
  • 1 shot of espresso or
  • 1tbsp instant coffee
  • 1tbsp hot water
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cocoa powder to dust

Method

  • In a glass combine the instant coffee with hot water and stir it nicely.
  • Soften the cream or mascarpone cheese with the help of a spatula and add in the honey, salt and espresso shot.
  • Mix everything well and transfer it to a piping bag.
  • Take the pitted dates and slit it middle without cutting through.
  • Pipe the cream cheese and coffee mixture into and let it seat in the fridge for about 2-3hours.
  • Dust the dates with cocoa powder and enjoy
