There is good news for all Elphaba and Glinda fans as Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are back with the sequel of Wicked - Wicked For Good.

In the final chapter Glinda and Elphaba - who is now infamous as the Wicked Witch of The West - come together to fight the evil Wizard.

Glinda is in her pink era, while Elphaba, who is the lovely Green, is stronger than ever and ready to fight the world.

Cynthia's Elphaba is now hiding in the Oz forest and decides to take on the wicked Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). And in her fight she will get the help of her 'only friend she has had' Glinda.

For Glinda she is ready to give it her all to the 'only friend that matters.'

Elphaba will fight for the liberation of the animals of Oz who have been silenced.

Living it up in the Emerald City palace and enjoying the fruits of her fame and renown, Glinda has become the dazzling emblem of Goodness for the entire land of Oz.

Based on the trailer, Wicked For Good will be able to hold its own with its unique tone and strong covers of the original musical's second act tunes.

Tensions will rise across Oz in the sequel as Glinda tries to bring everyone together, but her attempts to do so only serve to widen the gap.

The Tony-winning Broadway musical 'Wicked' was based on Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel that reimagined the legendary characters from The Wizard of Oz.

The movie Wicked, directed by Jon M. Chu, is based on the musical. Wicked: Part One debuted on November 22, 2024.

Wicked: For Good, the sequel, will premiere in 2025. The original title of the film was Wicked.
