Apple has launched the new iPad Pro in India, powered by the latest M5 chip and running iPadOS 26. The upgraded model promises major performance gains, enhanced AI capabilities, and improved wireless connectivity with the new N1 networking chip and C1X cellular modem. Designed for professionals and creators, the iPad Pro comes in two sizes — 11-inch and 13-inch — featuring the Ultra Retina XDR display built on tandem OLED technology for higher brightness and precision contrast.

The M5 chip introduces next-generation CPU and GPU cores with a Neural Accelerator in each core, delivering up to 3.5x faster AI performance compared to the M4 model, and up to 5.6x faster than the iPad Pro with M1. The new iPadOS 26 brings a redesigned interface, a new windowing system for multitasking, and the addition of the Preview app for managing PDFs directly on iPad.⸻

Apple iPad Pro: Price in India

The new iPad Pro is available for pre-order in India through Apple’s online store and will reach customers starting October 22. The 11-inch iPad Pro with M5 starts at Rs 99,990 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 1,19,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version. The larger 13-inch model starts at Rs 1,29,900 for the Wi-Fi variant and Rs 1,49,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version.

Apple also offers education pricing, with the 11-inch model starting at Rs 89,900 and the 13-inch at Rs 1,09,900. Accessories such as the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro are sold separately, priced at Rs 29,900 and Rs 11,900, respectively.

Apple iPad Pro: Variants and features

The new iPad Pro comes in space black and silver finishes and is available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage configurations. The M5 chip brings a 10-core CPU and a third-generation ray-tracing GPU, enabling faster 3D rendering and improved AI workloads for apps like DaVinci Resolve and Draw Things.

Connectivity upgrades include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread support via the new N1 chip, while cellular models use the C1X modem for up to 50 percent faster mobile data speeds. The iPad Pro also supports fast charging, with a 50 percent charge in around 30 minutes when used with Apple’s 70W USB-C adapter.

With iPadOS 26, users get a redesigned interface, new multitasking controls, and built-in Apple Intelligence features, making the iPad Pro with M5 Apple’s most powerful tablet yet in India.
