BTS members Jimin and V (Kim Taehyung) share an unbreakable bond that has given fans countless friendship goals over the years. Among their many playful moments, one hilarious incident from the past stands out—when Jimin jokingly hit V after he openly flirted with Jimin’s so-called ‘girlfriend.’
In a throwback clip shared by BIGHIT MUSIC, Jimin was seen engrossed in a phone conversation, playfully claiming to be speaking with his "lovely girlfriend." While keeping the identity of the mystery person secret, Jimin was heard showering compliments over the call.
As the moment unfolded, Jimin introduced his best friend V to the call, prompting Taehyung to flirt with his so-called girlfriend. This playful exchange triggered a mock-jealous reaction from Jimin, who ended up hitting V in jest. However, the twist came when V revealed that the call was completely fake—Jimin’s "girlfriend" was none other than BTS' beloved fanbase, ARMY!
Currently, both Jimin and V are serving in the military after enlisting in December 2023. Jimin is stationed with the artillery brigade of the 5th Infantry Division, while V serves in a different unit after enlisting a day earlier.
Their anticipated military discharge is set for June 2025, aligning with the return of fellow BTS members RM, Jungkook, and Suga, who are also fulfilling their service obligations. With Jin and J-Hope already enlisted earlier, the full group’s military hiatus is expected to end in 2025, raising hopes for an epic BTS comeback.
Once all seven members complete their service, BTS is expected to reunite and resume their music journey together. With ARMYs eagerly awaiting their return, 2025 is set to be a landmark year for one of the biggest K-pop sensations of all time.
