Warner Bros recently created a buzz among the Potterheads with the announcement of the Harry Potter series. However, the studio has announced an expansive mini-city named Potterville at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire
According to The Sun, the town will have a school and medical centre, and will serve as the filming location for the upcoming Harry Potter television series. The town will also incorporate new roadways, multi-storey parking facilities and expansive hangars for set construction.
Warner Bros is reportedly constructing a dedicated school for the hundreds of young actors involved in long-term filming, as well as a specialised facility to care for various animals, including dogs, birds of prey, rodents, snakes, spiders, and horses.
A source told the outlet, "Warner Bros are making a huge commitment to the new TV show, looking at making multiple, lengthy series over the next decade.”
However, Warner Bros is reportedly investing approximately $1.27 billion in the construction of Potterville. The state will also have a replica of Harry Potter's childhood home, Privet Drive.
Meanwhile, the makers have recently announced the cast of the series, which includes John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall.

The series will be helmed by Game of Thrones fame director Mark Mylod. Meanwhile, Francesca Gardiner is leading the show, with J.K. Rowling, the creator of Harry Potter, involved as an executive producer to ensure the adaptation stays faithful to the original stories.
The shooting of the Harry Potter series will kick off in the summer of 2025, with an anticipated release on Max in 2026. The series will delve deeper into the magical world, and each season will cover one of the seven books in the Harry Potter series.
