Warner Bros. is planning to bring the magic to the theatres once again. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint starrer film will complete 25 years and will celebrate the milestone with a global event.
According to Collider, Warner Bros will re-release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on its 25th anniversary.
However, there’s no official announcement.
Meanwhile, the reports have suggested that Warner Bros. is celebrating the franchise globally in honour of the anniversary, which will include a re-release of the movie in theatres around the world the following year.
Additionally, a newly created 25th anniversary logo, inspired by the illumination of the Patronus Charm, will be used on both new and existing product lines, retail activations, fan-focused campaigns, special edition products and collections, and special events that center around in-world references to the franchise, such as Christmas in the Wizarding World, Harry Potter's Birthday in July, Back to Hogwarts in August and September, and Butterbeer Season in March through May.
Meanwhile, the first instalment of the Harry Potter franchise was released on November 16, 2001. The film was directed by Chris Columbus and was based on J.K. Rowling’s fantasy series novel of the same name.
However, the specific date for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone re-release has yet to be confirmed.

The film received positive reviews from critics, made nearly $1 billion worldwide, and received an 80% Certified Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Its popularity led to the creation of a movie series based on the books, which made over $7 billion overall and launched the careers of its main characters.
Meanwhile, the makers celebrated the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter with a grand reunion of the cast members. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint came together for the reunion and recalled the behind-the-scenes anecdotes of filming the movie.
