Ranveer Singh’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar continued its extraordinary box‑office journey on Day 30, becoming the first Bollywood film to surpass ₹800 crore in domestic earnings — a truly historic achievement for Hindi cinema. The milestone marks another major success for the year’s biggest blockbuster and underscores the film’s sustained appeal with audiences across India.

Released on 5 December 2025, Dhurandhar has defied typical box‑office trends by maintaining strong collections weeks into its theatrical run. Despite entering its fifth week, the film has continued to draw audiences, reflecting its wide resonance and word‑of‑mouth strength. In doing so, it has smashed multiple records and set a new benchmark for initial runs by Indian films in recent years.

Dhurandhar has been making headlines since its release on December 5, setting record after record. The film has now crossed the impressive Rs 700-crore mark at the domestic box office, outpacing major films like Jawan, Chhaava, Stree 2, Animal, and Gadar 2, and establishing itself as the highest-grossing Bollywood film in India. In just 29 days since its premiere, the film has garnered Rs 794.20 crore net in India.

The spy action spectacle, directed by Aditya Dhar and featuring a stellar ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, has not only dominated the domestic market but also performed impressively overseas. Its ₹800‑crore domestic achievement places it in elite company, cementing its status as one of the highest‑grossing Hindi films of all time.

The Ranveer Singh-led film has now made history as the first Bollywood movie to surpass Rs 800 crore in India. On its 30th day, which is the fourth Saturday, the film has garnered Rs 7 crore by 6 pm, according to Sacnilk. As a result, the film's total net collection in the domestic market exceeds Rs 800 crore.

Benefiting from its massive success, Dhurandhar Part 2 is set to be released on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the festive weekend of Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi. The sequel is preparing for a significant box office showdown against the pan-India period gangster film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, which stars Yash, Nayanthara, and Kiara Advani.
