Actress Avika Gor, who won millions of hearts as Anandi in Balika Vadhu, tied the knot with her longtime partner Milind Chandwani in a ceremony that unfolded on the sets of the reality show Pati, Patni, Aur Panga.
Every part of the wedding, from the fun-filled haldi and mehendi to the spirited baraat and sacred phere, took place before cameras, making their union both intimate and celebratory for fans.
The rituals followed traditional Hindu customs. Milind’s baraat arrived in the morning with all the usual cheer, and the pheras were solemnised in the afternoon. Fellow contestants of the show — including Hina Khan, Rubina Dilaik, Isha Malviya, and Munawar Faruqui — joined in, turning the day into a grand family affair.
Milind made a quirky, unforgettable groom’s entry. He arrived on a scooter, dancing joyfully as he got closer to the mandap, rather than a horse or expensive car. Avika embodied the elegance of a traditional Indian bride, looking stunning in a deep red and gold lehenga and a tonne of emerald jewellery.
She looked stunning with Milind's peach-and-gold sherwani and turban. Following their marriage, the couple danced, giggled, and posed for the cameras, creating an unadulterated image of joy.
The haldi and mehendi ceremonies were celebrated on set, while just days earlier the couple sought blessings at the Siddhivinayak Temple. The wedding followed their engagement last year, which they had marked in a private gathering with family and close friends.
Avika has always been candid about her love story. She once revealed that Milind initially “friend-zoned” her when they met. Their relationship later blossomed into a long-distance romance, one many thought impractical. “People said having a long-distance relationship was not a practical idea, but we managed it quite effortlessly,” she said with pride.

Before the wedding, Avika admitted she was feeling a mix of nerves and joy. “We are excited but also very nervous. The big day will come very soon,” she had said. Reflecting on her journey, she added in an interview: “There are days when I wake up and remind myself that it’s real. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found a partner who supports me, understands me, and always pushes me to grow in life… I wanted my audience, who have been such an important part of my journey, to also be a part of this special moment, and in some way, I manifested this.”
Their wedding wasn’t just a union of two people — it was a celebration of love that survived distance, scepticism, and the pressures of the spotlight, finally finding its perfect moment under the brightest lights of all.
