In August this year, the announcement of a biopic on former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh was made, sparking widespread excitement. While the project has been confirmed, the makers have yet to disclose the actor who will play the iconic role.

Following the announcement, there has been much speculation about the casting. Recently, Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi shared an Instagram story that has left fans buzzing with curiosity. His post has sparked questions about whether he is being considered for the role of Yuvraj Singh in the much-anticipated biopic, adding to the growing anticipation. Fans are now eagerly waiting for an official confirmation.

On Monday, Siddhant Chaturvedi conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Instagram, where he engaged with his fans and responded to their queries. In 2020, Yuvraj Singh expressed his wish to see actor Siddhant Chaturvedi play him in his biopic. When asked who he would like to portray him on screen, Yuvraj humorously replied that he might play himself, though he quickly added that it would seem "a bit desperate." He then mentioned that Siddhant Chaturvedi would be a great choice for the role. According to Times of India, Yuvraj said, "See, that’s the director’s job to decide. If it’s going to be a Bollywood film, then Siddhant Chaturvedi is a good option; I’d love to see him in the film." This earlier remark has only added more intrigue to the ongoing speculations about Siddhant's potential casting in the biopic.

Bhushan Kumar, the head of T-Series, is collaborating with producer Ravi Bhagchandka to bring the story of Yuvraj Singh to the big screen. The official social media accounts of T-Series Films made the announcement about the biopic in August.

In a conversation with Variety, Yuvraj Singh talking about his biopic said, "I am deeply honoured that my story will be showcased to millions of my fans across the globe by Bhushan ji & Ravi. Cricket has been my greatest love and source of strength through all the highs and lows. I hope this film inspires others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams with unwavering passion."

The biopic is set to portray the iconic moment of Yuvraj Singh hitting six sixes in the 2007 T20 World Cup, along with his brave off-field struggles.
