Shehnaaz Gill gained widespread recognition following her successful run on Bigg Boss 13. During a recent visit to Chandigarh University, while performing on her new track "Sajna Ve Sajna" from the recently released film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, she was surprised when the audience began chanting Karan Aujla's name.

Shehnaaz performed her latest track, Sajna Ve Sajna during the tashan Nites at Chandigarh University. Listening to the students chanting Karan Aujla's name, Shehnaaz did not hold back and schooled them in her own way.

Ina video widely being circulated on Instagram, Shehnaaz can be seen saying, "Acha (Karan) Aujla bol rahe ho? Te mein jaava? So guys, I know you love him a lot, but this is very disrespectful to other artists. Aap log sabki izzat kiya karo."

"Bhai, theek hai, aap bohot pyaar karte ho, hum bhi karte hai usko," she added.

Her response, however, received considerable acclaim from the students. Fans flooded the comment section, commending the actress for her straightforward yet courteous reaction to the situation. One fan wrote, " Love her confidence and realness" while another netizen commented, "Shehnaaz is right and kudos to her for handling this soo respectfully and in a mature way."

Recently, Shehnaaz reflected on her relationship with the late actor Sidharth Shukla. While discussing her feelings of possessiveness towards him, she shared her thoughts with Farah Khan on her YouTube channel. She said, "I don't care about looks, but I am extremely possessive."

Additionally, Farah reminisced about Shehnaaz's iconic line for Sidharth from Bigg Boss 13: "Tu mera hai, mera hi rahega. In her response, Gill explained that she felt possessive because Sidharth was exceptionally handsome. She mentioned that it’s natural to feel insecure and possessive when someone is that good-looking. Sidharth sadly passed away in September 2021 at the age of 40 due to a heart attack.

On the work front, she was last seen in Thank You for Coming, which was directed by Rhea Kapoor's husband Karan Boolani, also starring Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Shibani Bedi and Kusha Kapila.
