Saif Ali Khan salutes the bravery of Indian Armed forces amid India-Pakistan tensions, says "thank them for keeping us safe"

Saif Ali Khan extends support to Indian army

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has recently broken his silence on the ongoing tension between Indian and Pakistan. The actor expressed his complete solidarity with and support for the government's response to the terror attack in Pahalgam.

Saif Ali Khan said, “I stand in complete solidarity with, and support of, my government and their response to the slaughter of innocents in Pahalgam.”

The actor also conveyed his thoughts and prayers to the families affected by the violence and saluted the bravery of the armed forces, thanking them for ensuring safety.

He added, “My thoughts and prayers are with the families shattered by the violence of this most recent terror attack on our soil. I salute the bravery and courage of our armed forces and thank them for keeping us safe.”

He concluded his message by saying, “I pray we all stand united against terrorism. Jai Jawan, Jai Hind.”

Saif Ali Khan’s statement came after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which killed 26 innocent people, mostly tourists. Following this attack, India launched a counter-operation that targeted terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

On the work front, the actor is currently riding on the success of the recently released Netflix film, Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins. The action thriller also features Nikita Dutta, Jaideep Ahlawat and Kunal Kapoor in the pivotal roles.
