Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, Kareena Kapoor and TV actress Hina Khan have recently reacted to India and Pakistan agreeing to have a “full and immediate ceasefire” to retain peace between the two nations.
Raveena took to her Instagram and praised the ceasefire decision. However, she made it clear that if India were to suffer again due to state-sponsored terrorism, it would be considered an act of war with severe consequences.
She wrote, “If this is true, then it's a welcome decision. #ceasefire. But make no mistake, the day India bleeds again #statesponsoredterroris m it will be an act of war and then there will be hell to pay.”
However, she captioned her post, “#ceasefire But few things are pretty clear. I will support my country in ways that as a citizen I can. #mycountrymylife #bharatforever... This has shown us who are friends and not. My country’s enemy is mine . The world must act against terrorism and fast.”
Saif Ali Khan also released a official statement about the ceasefire and Pahalgham attack and said, "I stand in complete solidarity with, and support of, my government and their response to the slaughter of innocents in Pahalgam. My thoughts and prayers are with the families shattered by the violence of this most recent terror attack on our soil."
The actor added, "I salute the bravery and courage of our armed forces and thank them for keeping us safe. I pray we all stand united against terrorism. Jai Jawan, Jai Hind.”
Parineeti Chopra took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Om Namah Shivaay. #Ceasefire.”
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor also shared her reaction to the news. She wrote, "Rab Rakha [folding hand emoji] Jai Hind [Indian flag emoji]."

Shekhar Kapur also welcomed the ceasefire decision and tweeted, "Ceasefire declared today, disengagement started at 5pm. Hopefully all those that support terrorism against India now realise our leadership will not hold back in taking strict and appropriate action. Now India can go on with what is most needed. The development goals of our Nation."

Swara Bhaskar shared the US President Donald Trump's announcement on India and Pakistan ceasefire and wrote, "First time I'm glad to hear something come out of this man's trap #ceasefire."
Ananya Panday, Karan Johar, Rasha Thadani, Triptii Dimri, Uorfi Javed, and Varun Dhawan also showed their support by sharing posts and expressing solidarity with the nation, wishing for peace.
The ceasefire order came after India’s retaliation, Operation Sindoor, destroyed nine terror infrastructure targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). The operation was launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists.
