Bollywood actor Anupam Kher revealed that his cousin, who is from Jammu, shared videos when Pakistan launched the drone and missile attack in the region.
Despite the attack, the actor revealed that his brother maintained the spirit and belief in the Indian armed forces.
The actor took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted a video that his cousin, who lives in Jammu, shared with him. The video showcased the Indian army taking down the drone and missile launched by Pakistan. Alongside the video, Anupam Kher tweeted the conversation he recently had with his cousin.
He wrote, “My cousin brother #SunilKher sent this video from his home in Jammu. I called immediately and asked him if he and his family are ok? He laughed a little proudly and said, Bhaiya! Hum Bharat me hain! Hum Hindustani hai (Bhaiya! We are in India! We are Indians).”

The actor concluded his post writing, “Jai Mata Di! Bharat Mata Ki Jai!”
The actor frequently applauds the Indian Army, especially after India launched Operation Sindoor against nine terror infrastructure targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). The operation was launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists.
On the work front, the actor has recently announced that he would return to the director’s chair with his upcoming film, Tanvi: The Great. The film will star Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen and Anupam Kher in the pivotal roles.
