Global pop icon and entrepreneur Rihanna has officially announced the launch of her much-acclaimed beauty lines — Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin — in India.

Starting 7th August, Indian beauty enthusiasts will finally be able to purchase the full range of products through Sephora India and Tira Beauty, marking a major moment for the Indian beauty retail landscape.

On Monday, 4th August, Rihanna took to Instagram to reveal the news with a short video, accompanied by the caption: "India, are you ready."

The post immediately set social media ablaze, with fans and celebrities alike flooding the comment section with excitement.

Singer Raja Kumari exclaimed, "Welcome Queen! We’ve been waiting for you," while actor Ahsaas Channa shared her joy with, "Bhagwaan bhala karega tumahara (God will bless you)"

Previously, Indian customers could access Fenty Beauty only through Nykaa’s cross-border store, often incurring high shipping costs and long delivery waits.

The brand’s official launch in the country now means easier, quicker, and more affordable access to its cult-favourite products — known for their quality, diversity, and innovative formulations.

In an official press release, Rihanna expressed her delight over the brand’s expansion into India, stating: "Bringing Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin to over 50 stores across 16 cities in India means so much to me. It has always been about making sure everyone, everywhere, feels seen, celebrated and confident in their skin. Now, we are making it easier for people to experience our products, and we are just getting started."

Rihanna first launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 with a clear mission to revolutionise the industry through inclusivity, offering an impressive range of shades for all skin tones. Her appearance at the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant earlier this year had already fuelled speculation about a possible Indian launch — which fans are now celebrating as reality.
