Actor Ajith Kumar and his wife Shalini once again reminded fans why they are one of cinema’s most loved couples. Shalini lit up social media after posting a tender picture from 24H Barcelona 2025, where Ajith is currently burning rubber on the racetrack.

In the viral snapshot, Shalini stands proudly by her husband’s side as he kisses her forehead, dressed head-to-toe in his racing gear.

She captioned it simply but meaningfully: “Standing next to my champion in Spain.” Within minutes, the photo set the internet abuzz, with fans flooding the comments section with hearts, admiration, and endless praise for the superstar couple.

For Ajith’s admirers, moments like these strike a perfect balance — a glimpse of their Thala as both a fierce competitor on the track and a devoted family man off it. His journey has always been about passion and balance: balancing superstardom with his deep love for motorsports.

Ajith, whose love for racing is as legendary as his film career, even hinted recently at taking that passion to the big screen.

In a candid chat with India Today, he admitted he wouldn’t rule out making a film inspired by the world of Formula One, similar to Joseph Kosinski’s Brad Pitt-starrer F1. “If it does happen organically, why not? Maybe we can have a Hollywood collaboration,” he quipped, sparking excitement about what could be a thrilling crossover of cinema and speed.

Speaking about the adrenaline of racing, Ajith didn’t sugarcoat the risks. “As a driver, you are not thinking about anything. You don’t realise how fast you’re going until you go off the circuit or face a bad crash. You’re pushing the limits of your car, testing your own limits, so accidents are bound to happen,” he explained, reflecting his unfiltered honesty.

A motorsport enthusiast since the early 2000s, Ajith has competed in several national and international championships, often stepping away from films to pursue this parallel career. On the big screen, he was last seen in Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly.
