Taking the buzz a notch higher, the makers unveiled a powerful motion poster on July 12, showcasing the two stars and sending fans into a frenzy.

On Saturday, the movie's official Instagram page unveiled the motion poster, providing viewers with yet another look at the epic character battle.

The teaser of Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, was recently unveiled and has already generated immense buzz and anticipation for the release of this grand mythological saga. Adding to the excitement, on July 12, the makers released a striking motion poster featuring the two lead stars, sending fans into a frenzy.

On Saturday, the movie's official Instagram page unveiled the motion poster, providing viewers with yet another look at the epic character battle. Fans have been enthralled by the strong animated depictions of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Ravana fighting against one another, even though the images don't show much more than what has already been hinted at.

The glimpse is amplified by the Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman‘s chilling music and VFX by a team who have worked in prominent Hollywood projects.

Several fans took to the comment section praising the poster the visual. One user wrote, "5000 cr loading", while another comment read, "Superstar x Rocking star." A comment also read, "Ranbir Kapoor’s one more INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE is on the way".

The makers of Ramayana: The Introduction gave fans a first look at the highly anticipated mythological saga on July 3rd, 2025, when they held a grand worldwide launch to reveal the epic universe. The movie sets up the timeless conflict between Rama and Ravana, two of the most recognisable characters in Indian mythology.

The launch video starts at the very beginning of the myth, introducing the cosmic forces thought to rule the universe—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—the divine trinity. The film immerses viewers in the spirit of the Ramayana by taking them on a journey from creation to conflict through stunning animation and striking visuals.

The main characters of the story are then introduced: Yash as the powerful and fierce Ravana, Sai Pallavi as the elegant and moral Sita, and Ranbir Kapoor as the honourable Lord Rama.

There is excitement for an epic conflict between dharma and adharma brought to life on the big screen thanks to the stunning visuals and cinematic grandeur, which promise a retelling of the Ramayana like never before.

Ramayana will release in two parts: Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
