Radhika Merchant's wedding to Anant Ambani has been the talk of the town, not just because of the grand ceremony but also due to the intricate details of her bridal look, which have captured the imagination of fashion enthusiasts and admirers alike. Radhika's ensemble was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, symbolizing elegance and heritage with every element carefully chosen to honour her family roots.

The wedding attire that Radhika chose was a stunning custom lehenga designed by the renowned duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The lehenga was a masterpiece of craftsmanship, featuring exquisite Zardozi cut-work. The trailing ghagra came with a second detachable trail, providing a regal silhouette that was further accentuated by a 5-meter head veil, a meticulously crafted blouse, and a delicate tissue shoulder dupatta.

The entire ensemble was adorned with three borders of red, showcasing the finest amalgamation of Naqshi, Saadi, and Zardozi techniques, with intricate floral booties decorated with stones, sequins, Tamba tikkis, and red Resham. This intricate detailing added a luxurious touch, making her bridal look nothing short of royal.

Complementing her bridal attire were heirloom jewels steeped in family history. These pieces were not just jewelry but carried sentimental value, having been passed down through generations. The jewels included a cherished choker, polki earrings, a mang tika, and a haath phool, all of which had been worn by her sister Anjali Merchant at her wedding in 2020. This thoughtful selection highlighted the strong family ties and the importance of tradition in the Merchant family. The jewelry not only added a touch of vintage charm but also blended seamlessly with the contemporary design of her lehenga, creating a timeless bridal look.

Radhika's wedding glam was the handiwork of stylist Rhea Kapoor, who opted for a minimal makeup look that highlighted her natural beauty. The makeup was characterized by a bold red lip, sleek winged eyeliner, mascara on the lashes, feathered brows, rouge-tinted cheeks, and a dainty bindi. Her hair was styled in a center-parted bun adorned with gajra and roses, completing her regal bridal appearance. This look was a perfect example of how traditional bridal makeup can be elevated with modern touches to create something truly unique.

The celebration itself was a grand affair, beginning with the 'Shubh Aashirwad' ceremony on July 13, followed by the 'Mangal Utsav' grand wedding reception on July 14. The couple's union was not just a celebration of their love but also a showcase of cultural heritage, with every element of the wedding carefully curated to reflect the traditions and values of both families.
