The makers of Kannappa have revealed that the first-look poster of Prabhas as Lord Shiva will be unveiled on February 3. This announcement has raised excitement among fans, as Prabhas plays an extended cameo in the film. To tease the upcoming reveal, the team shared a pre-glimpse poster on social media, which shows Prabhas with an intense gaze, holding a Trishul (trident associated with Shiva).
The poster was shared on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: “Here’s a glimpse of the Darling-Rebel Star 'Prabhas' in #Kannappa! Experience the beginning of an epic journey, and don’t miss the full reveal on 3rd February. Stay tuned for more updates!” The glimpse has sparked curiosity, as it offers just a peek into Prabhas's role, leaving fans eager for the full reveal.
Prabhas is expected to play Lord Shiva in the Telugu version of Kannappa. It's rumored that his character will explore a unique aspect of Shiva’s persona, especially since Akshay Kumar is playing the original form of Shiva in the film.
This dual portrayal of the same deity by two major stars has only added to the film’s intrigue.
Earlier, on January 20, the makers unveiled the first look of Akshay Kumar as Shiva. In his image, Akshay is seen wearing a white dhoti and holding a Trishul and Damru, representing the mythological story of Shiva drinking poison, which turned his throat blue.
