Stree 2 - Amazon Prime Video

Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank returns with familiar faces as Chanderi faces a new supernatural threat. This time, a headless ghost named Sarkata is terrorizing local women, using chilling methods to spread fear. Vicky (Rajkummar Rao), along with Shraddha Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi, must confront this terrifying menace while uncovering its mysterious connection to Stree will be streaming from October 11

Khel Khel Mein (Netflix)

Akshay Kumar's comeback to the comedy genre with Khel Khel Mein did not resonate with audiences. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, this comedy entertainer faced tough competition on Independence Day 2024 (August 15), going up against Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, as well as Vedaa, starring John Abraham and Sharvari.

Sarfira (Disney+ Hotstar)

Directed by Sudha Kongara, the Hindi adaptation of her National Award-winning Tamil film Soorarai Pottru (2020), titled Sarfira, stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Akshay takes on the inspiring character originally portrayed by Suriya, bringing to life the story of a man determined to make air travel accessible to all Indians. Based on GR Gopinath's memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey, Sarfira offers another chance to experience this motivational journey. The film will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar starting October 11.

Citadel: Diana (Amazon Prime Video)

The Italian series Citadel continues the story of a global spy agency destroyed by Manticore, eight years after Priyanka Chopra's character. Matilda De Angelis plays Diana Cavalieri, a Citadel agent who goes undercover to infiltrate Manticore and gather information. Watch it on Prime Video starting October 10.

Lonely Planet - Netflix

Lonely Planet, created by Academy Award nominee Susannah Grant, follows the romantic journey of Katherine Loewe (Laura Dern), a solitary novelist in search of inspiration at a writers’ retreat in Morocco. There, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Owen Brophy (Liam Hemsworth), igniting a passionate love affair that changes both of their lives. The film offers a poignant look at the intersection of love and creative expression.

Raat Jawaan Hai on (SonyLIV)

Created by Khyati Anand-Puthran, Raat Jawaan Hai is a heartwarming and humorous series that explores the unbreakable bond between three lifelong friends. No matter what life throws at them, they stand by each other through thick and thin. From the small everyday moments to life-altering events, this trio becomes each other’s greatest source of support. Directed by Sumeet Vyas, Raat Jawaan Hai beautifully captures the essence of friendship, often evoking memories of your own close-knit group of friends. It will be streaming on SonyLIV from October 11.
