The message also provided a moment of reflection for Jin as he
prepared to embark on the next chapter of his journey. He expressed
his feelings of anticipation and excitement mixed with a tinge of
sadness at the thought of temporarily parting ways with his fellow BTS
members and fans.

Despite the temporary separation, Jin assured fans that this is not
goodbye but rather a "see you soon." He expressed his determination to
return to them after completing his military service, ready to
continue making memories together.

This message was the conclusion of the 'Message from Jin' series,
hinting at his imminent return to connect with fans in person. Filming
on the same day as the release of his solo single 'The Astronaut', Jin
reflected on its significance, co-written with Coldplay, who
previously collaborated with BTS on 'My Universe' and more.

In a lighthearted moment, Jin playfully addressed fans, joking about
his appearance and dispelled rumours of being a vampire, humorously
claiming to look the same as a year and a half ago. Expressing his
longing for fans, Jin wrapped up his heartfelt message with a kind
request for fans to cherish May and eagerly anticipate his return.

On October 28, Jin delighted fans with his latest solo single, 'The
Astronaut' in collaboration with Coldplay, where Jin contributed to
the lyrics, expressing his love for ARMY. This pop-rock gem explores
themes of love and connection, echoing a cosmic motif present in both
artist and band's previous works, serving as a poignant prelude to
Jin's enlistment.

As Jin prepares to return in June after completing his 18-month
mandatory military service, he stands as the first member of BTS to
fulfill his duty, paving the way for the rest of the group.
