BIGHIT not only pursued legal action against the offenders but also worked to debunk rumors associating BTS with a supposed cult.

BIGHIT Music, the agency behind global sensation BTS, has recently made headlines for taking legal action against individuals involved in a planned digital attack against the group. In a bold move to protect their artists and reputation, the agency has initiated legal proceedings against those responsible for orchestrating the malicious
campaign.

The incident came to light when reports surfaced regarding a planned digital attack targeting BTS. BIGHIT swiftly responded by issuing a statement denouncing the attack and affirming their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of their artists. The agency made it clear that they would not tolerate any form of harassment or malicious behaviour directed towards BTS or any other affiliated artists. In their latest statement, they vehemently denied allegations of hoarding, concept plagiarism, labeling such claims as entirely false.

In addition to taking legal action against the perpetrators, BIGHIT has also sought to dispel rumours linking BTS to a purported cult. The agency vehemently denied any affiliation with such groups, emphasising that BTS and its members have no involvement with any cult or controversial organisations. BIGHIT also reaffirms zero-tolerance policy against spreading false information to tarnish artists' reputation, pledging rigorous legal action.

In case you missed it, on April 28, 2024, online allegations linking HYBE and BTS to the Dahn World cult emerged, sparking controversy. Allegations surfaced linking Dahn World, founded by Lee Seung Heon, to beliefs equating man with god and worshipping the goddess of space, Mago. Coincidentally, GFRIEND's final single before disbanding was
titled 'Mago,' fueling speculation among fans. This news emerged amidst renewed accusations of chart manipulation involving BTS. Responding promptly, HYBE announced the engagement of a new law firm to combat escalating defamation against BTS, emphasising the orchestrated nature of slander and reaffirming commitment to legal action.
