j-hope's military journey began on April 18, 2023, when he enlisted as an active soldier at the Army A Division Recruit Training Center in Gangwon Province. After completing his initial training, the accomplished singer was promoted to the rank of Corporal. He then took on the responsibility of training juniors at the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju, demonstrating leadership and dedication in his service to the nation. He is expected to complete his military service in October 2024.

During his enlistment, j-Hope ensured that fans remained engaged and entertained by surprising them with 'HOPE ON THE STREET'. This six-part docuseries premiered and streamed on Prime Video and TVING starting from March 28, providing fans with an intimate look into his life and journey.
