Shraddha Kapoor confirms relationship with Rahul Mody, writes ‘Dil rakh le’

Shraddha Kapoor just made her relation with Rahul Mody Instagram official! Kapoor posted a selfie of the two of them with a romantic caption. The couple have reportedly been together for a while now. They got close while working on ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.’

In the picture shared by Shraddha, the pair, both dressed in white, were looking directly into the camera. Kapoor had her hand around his arm while she smiled at the camera and Rahul made a funny face while posing for the selfie.

Shraddha captioned the picture by writing, “Dil rakh le, Neend toh vaapis de de yaar (Take away my heart, but at least return my sleep).”

The couple first met on the set of Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ and their friendship blossomed into love. Rahul Mody was a writer on the film.

In March, 2024, Shraddha was photographed wearing a pendent with the initial ‘R’ on it which added fuel to the already ignited fire of rumours.

The couple made an appearance together and were captured by the paparazzi and fans in Jamnagar, where they attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. Shraddha and Rahul were also captured after a dinner meet in Mumbai last year.

A source close to the pair revealed that Shraddha and Rahul were ‘shocked’ at being photographed together. “They want to have a private affair, and not fret about going public with the relationship,” explained the source.

Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in ‘Stree 2’ which will release on Independence Day this year. The film is part of the horror comedy universe being helmed by Maddock Films which includes titles like ‘Stree,’ ‘Munjya,’ ‘Bhediya’ and ‘Roohi.’ The second instalment of ‘Stree’ is much awaited and will see the return of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
