15th August sure will be a busy day at the cinema.
The curiosity regarding the plot of ‘Stree 2’ has not yet been satiated. The makers of ‘Stree 2’ announced the teaser of the film but they haven’t yet released it on social media. Instead, you get a glimpse of Rao and Kapoor in the theatres that are screening ‘Munjya,’ another horror comedy that is part of the same horror universe.
The sequel will be a new addition in the well crafted universe, joining titles including ‘Stree,’ ‘Bhediya,’ ‘Roohi,’ and the latest, ‘Munjya.’
Meanwhile, there were speculations that ‘Singham Again’ might also be released on 15 August but those rumours have been shut down by Ajay Devgn during the ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ launch on Thursday. He revealed that the release date for the film has been pushed nearer to Diwali and that they are in no hurry.
‘Stree’ released in 2018 and became a critically acclaimed and beloved horror comedy film. The sequel is directed by Amar Kaushik and it is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
