Prabhas starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' collects $1 million in pre-sales in the USA, first for any Indian film.

Director Nag Ashwin’s upcoming sci-fi epic, ‘Kalki 2898 A.D', is set to become one of the most monumental Indian films of all time.

Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' has become the first Indian film to get a record $1 million in pre-sales or advance bookings in the USA.

The film's trailer was released on June 10, and since then, fans have eagerly awaited its release. 'Kalki 2898 AD' is going to release on June 27. But it premieres in North America on June 26th.

Director Nag Ashwin’s upcoming sci-fi epic, ‘Kalki 2898 AD', is set to become one of the most monumental Indian films of all time, leaving no stone unturned to surprise audiences.

In a grand, one-of-a-kind launch event in Hyderabad, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ unveiled its fifth hero and futuristic vehicle, ‘Bujji’, the life-size best friend of Prabhas’ character Bhairava.

Attended by nearly twenty thousand people, along with director Nag Ashwin and producers, the event showcased the innovative vision of the makers, who were the first to create such a vehicle as a character for the film. Prabhas made a smashing entry by crashing through a huge wall with ‘Bujji’, kicking off the film’s grand promotional campaign five weeks before its release.

Amitabh Bachchan is going to be seen as Ashwatthama in the movie. He has an all-white avatar and exudes mystery with his portrayal of the character.

Featuring an ensemble star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. A multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future, the film hits screens on June 27, 2024.
