'Kalki 2898 AD' new poster out, trailer of Prabhas starrer film to be launched on June 10

The makers of 'Kalki 2898 AD' dropped a new poster of the soon-to-release film today (June 5). And the movie's much-awaited trailer will be unveiled on June 10.

Not much has been revealed about the movie's storyline till now, and this trailer will be much-awaited one.

In the poster, one can see Prabhas' dressed in his character Bhairava, who is standing in front of a sand dunes and the futuristic village in the background.

Prabhas will join the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. The trailer will be released in many languages, and Prabhas also made the announcement on his social media handle.

Prabhas wrote, “Unveiling the future. #Kalki2898AD Trailer on June 10th.”.

The trailer announcement has brought major excitement to the fans.

One of the fans wrote, “Trailer of the Year," and another one said, "Super Hero"

"Excited, Bhairava," said one more.

In an interview with Deadline, Prabhas said they have the best actors in the country for their movie 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

“The whole film is made for international audiences. That’s why it’s the highest budget, and we’ve got the best actors in the country," he said.

Prabhas also spoke about being referred to as a Pan India star, and he said, "We were hearing for the first time people calling me ‘pan-Indian’. That doesn’t really affect me, but it’s a good feeling to think that people around the country like me now."

Directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is a mythology-inspired sci-fi extravaganza set in the future.
